Vincent Goudreau has been collecting narratives of displacement, migration, and the idea of finding one’s home. Engaging within communities of interest and foreign environments, Goudreau builds friendships so that he can learn from others and document these stories. This interaction and the storytelling that it generates is the basis for his research.

Painter, filmmaker and animator David Pierce has built a practice based both in suspicion and celebration of two-dimensional media in an effort to communicate its inherent distortions in the larger world. Pierce’s works unveil simmering tensions and mistrust in human interaction with digital technology, weaponry, and, often, each other. He highlights postmodern dualities in swathes of toxic smoke, soldiers’ glances, and taboo mixtures of bureaucracy, religion and psychological distress.
